Footy Day – 2014

Yesterday was footy day. People had to dress up in their footy clothes. I barrack for hawthorn so I wore a hawthorn jumper. When the bell rang at 9:00am the whole school had a footy parade, we listened to each footy team’s anthem and if you went for them you had to get up and go around the circle while you’re anthem is playing.
After recess we had all types of different footy activities with Strathmore Secondary Collage. We got put into groups my group was 3.The first activity our group did was hand balling. The main idea for hand balling was to try and get the target (which was 10 points). We missed out on one activity that activity was doing hurdling and then get a footy bouncing it or tapping the footy on the floor. For lunch some people ordered hot dogs and a juice box. I ordered 2 hot dogs and 1 juice boxes. At lunch time we played marches up.

Colors poem

Tree is different, Its colors are existent,
red orange pink the colors will make you think,
the leaves blow to the ocean sea to find another tree to see,
leaves are enjoying the other colors of gatherings from lots of different leaves, the tree achieves its 30th year of growing and it comes to be that the tree is lowering because it is getting old the leaves will start to fold

Sports report 28/03/2014

Today the girls’ basketball team played a tense and tiring game against St Fidelis. The scores were 14-4 in our favour. Some of the highlights were Gisg’s stealing, Emey’s shooting, Chlop’s rebounding and everyone’s passing. The team is still undefeated. I would like to thank Mr M for coaching us and Mrs B for umpiring.

book report

I am reading a book called EJ12 Girl Hero. It is about a girl who
is a spy and she goes on spy missions. My favourite part is when Emma goes into spy HQ. She goes into the spy HQ by going into the last toilet cubicle in the girls toilets, puts a micro chip from her phone into the toilet paper roll, puts in a code on her phone and then the wall turns around to the HQ. I have enjoyed reading this book.
